Message from the President
Thanks for Logging onto the website of The Father Abram J. Ryan Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. The oldest Irish Catholic mens faternal organization in America. It's with great pride that we bring you the St. Patrick's Day parade every year. This year being no exception. We have decided to bring back our Hooley in the Highlands theme for 2011. This year marks the 175th anniversary of the Ancient Order of Hibernians in America. Because this is such a big birthday for us, it just seemed appropriate for us to stay with a party theme. Hooley being the Irish word for party. If you have never been a part of our yearly experiance, this would be a perfect time to come join us as we celebrate our 175th birthday and be Irish for a day. I hope to see as many people there as can make it. So mark Saturday March 12, 2011 on your calenders and come out to see us. Be sure to look me up and say Hi!
Slainte,
Be sure to take a look at the Bloody Monday memorial marker in W. Louisville that we helped unveil in Aug. 06. It's an important part of our Irish-American and local history, for sure.
